So, for all of you people who want to make a fan troll (or edit your current fan troll which I encourage you do after reading this if your fan troll is way off the standards), here are some things you should know if you want to make the best fan troll ever. And I want your fan troll to be the best it can be. Now let's get working! Okay I know it seems like a lot, but here are the basics on what information your fan troll must have:

The reason that "sign" had a question mark is NOT because it is optional. It's because you should by no means feel subjected to use just the colors on the canon scale. You can if you want and it's fine but I just want you to know that there are tons of symbols to use, and since they're not canon, you can make it almost any color you'd like! For example, here are some symbols I'm using and the colors I'm using them for:

Pluto- magenta/fuchsia
Mercury- red
Venus- dark red
Earth- brown
Mars- lime
Jupiter- olive
Saturn- jade
Uranus- teal
Neptune- dark blue
Ceres- dark violet
Pallas- light orchid
Sun- royal gold

So you can put your fan hemospectrum in almost any color order you want really! (As long as you have a reason to why it differs from the canon scale, like a different planet or different civilization etc.) The reason I say ALMOST any color is there are some restrictions to what color blood your troll has. Don't be an idiot is all I ask. I mean, I'm fine with neon green, some dark shades of pink, and some other mutant/neon colors even though they aren't on the canon scale. But don't come up with excuses, they don't have black, white, light pink, rainbow, transparent, or any multi-colored blood. That's just crazy. People will judge you for having a fan troll with rainbow blood and they're not being "racist" or anything, they might just want to talk some sense into you. Some other things you need to know color wise: Don't have trolls with white hair!!!! It is a known fact that trolls have black hair, grey skin, two orange horns, and yellow eyes with black pupils. There are some exceptions to eye color as in psionics, blind people, dead people, and people who are missing an eye or both eyes. (but I think by the time they lose both eyes, they'd be dead) And though trolls can have streaks in their hair, don't go overboard with it. It's a risk just having them in the first place because some people just hate trolls with streaks. If you want them though just keep within boundaries. Don't have more than a small portion of their hair colored and please don't go over one sixth of their hair!!! The streak must show off their blood color (but if they are ashamed of their blood color and are posing as another, it's fine). You should not have multi colored streaks. This also means no multi-colored blood, as I have said before. Just don't.

And now to the horns rules! okay so I see some really exaggerated horns out there that are just not acceptable. Don't be an idiot, again. Don't have giant fish fins for horns, three horns on one head, don't have a multiple headed troll for that matter, and do not have more than four horns. I understand having four horns if your troll is a Gemini, but that is the only reason I can find that is sensible. Don't have an odd number of horns, even if it is under four. Nobody has a unicorn horn or three giant fish fins for horns. Just no. Think over it and maybe look up some creative troll horns or maybe even use horns that are similar to the canon trolls. There are so many things you can do with horns! You can make it look original without making it completely insane.

Now to the common sense category. Trolls have grey skin. Deal with it. Also, you aren't going to find a troll with multiple heads or more than two arms/legs or fingers in their freaking armpits so please please PLEASE. Don't do it. You can have mechanical parts or severed limbs and sometimes little paraplegics are adorable. I think it's fine to have a missing arm, but don't take a whole chunk out of their stomach. You can have a robotic body or a robotic portion of your head due to a stumble down the old stairs but don't have them be a robotic spider or something. Robotic animals are not trolls. You can do plenty of cool things without being a mechanical kangaroo. Again, missing limbs and stuff can be cute sometimes. Got an ear cut off or a missing eye from battle? Badass, my friend. Awesome fan troll. Missing teeth? Great job, your fan troll is an idiot, or they've gotten in some serious business. There are so many acceptable things to do with their body and face and I say do it! Be original! Make your troll who you want them to be. I hope you will have the best fan troll ever.
