very cool, I just like to see the rope more tied up cos now it looks too soft, ... which is interesting because then it could be seen as a bloody fetish

yeah well I mean you do basic make up scars and cuts and bruises and you have that down but thats such a incredibly small part of special FX make up. Which... isn't used that much in the industry. You don't want to wind up like Jack Peirce who did like the original karloft Frankenstein make up and stuff. He refused to move on and died in obscurity because he wouldn't change with the industry and start using foam and now foam latex is starting to go away some too. Specially in big budget movies. Silicone is an amazing material but really expensive...
Also theres things like pros-aid appliances that are fucking amazing you just slap them on and blend them out with alcohol and bam your job is done in half the time. Which is really important if youre working on a movie some one because theres strict deadlines and you want. to try to do things as quickly and efficiently as possible
But yeah sculpting is the next the step, and really your imagination is the only limit.
