Trying to think of another design for cyclops costume... since I really don't like his costume in AstonishingPainter 9 and color corrections in Photoshop CS

Really cool design. I don't particularly like his Astonishing suit when drawn by Cassady but I like it when done by other artists, this is better though

His power was also his curse. It was a positive editorial decision of Marvel to have his power uncontrollable, thus requiring the goggles that give him his monicker. Same way for Ben Grimm the Thing. That one of the FF was to be a monster was a major decision Marvel made...
On the negative side, Marvel has harped far far too long on the "mutant menace"story element, causing me to grow weary of it all....

I like the new design. Reminds me of his costume from Evolution. The lighting and texture on the costume is great. You can certaintly tell that its spandex at a first glance and and its tight to incorporate the tradtional 'X' logo in the costume. Top notch.^_^

I don't HATE Cyclop's costume in "Astonishing", but I do think this is a better design. I particularly like that his hair is visible(I've always liked his non-capped costumes better) and the shoulderpads. Very good job.
