Late reply, but I could have sworn you could open animated GIFs in CS4. You defiantly can in CS5.

Well I cant in CS4, it says that it's an animated GIF and that I can only show 1 frame.

Ah, I figured it out!
Doesn't work on Macs though.
In CS5 you can just open it like a regular image and all frames are available!

Yeahh, I did, but I already found a tutorial for it on YouTube and now I know how
I first only put * in the box, but I needed to put *.gif in it
