Beautiful. Nice to see a brahminy kite, instead of an eagle lol.

Every detail of the bird's feathers is clearly defined. The log with the moss on it is a perfect foil for the bird and adds interest. Nature has provided the green background which shows off the birds colors to great advantage. Beautiful art photo!

Gorgeous bird. I don't think I've ever seen one of them before. I really like the russet of the feathers against the powder blue of the beak!

is it me, or does this kite looks really really sad? looks like some character out of shakesphare

Nice work--The 400mm must be a lot of fun to work with---although I still think I would turn off the IS and use a tripod--I'm sure I would get a lot of fuzzy shots trying to handhold!

Nice--I sometimes carry a tripod around all day, then only use it for a few shots! grrr

I have a monopod and its difficult to get used to it so it stays more home then bringin it along

I like to use my monopod---but it needs a ballhead so that you can change the angle/orientation quickly and easily.

Pretty! It almost looks like it's got a bit of a sheepish/embarressed grin on its face. Kinda like, "Oh, you're taking my picture? Oh, eh-heh...thanks...*slight blush*" I like. ^_^
