lovely...i agree he looks sad....like hes stuck somewhere but also i agree that it could also be that hes looking behind at a noise he heard which comes to my conclusion to thinking that mabey he heard soemthing and it wasnt something good hence the sad expression mabey the thought "Is it going to hurt me?" arises? all together a beautiful shot good job ^^

I don't get the sad look... it looks more like he's just thinking, "huh?" or something like that... like he's being still, listening to a noise over his shoulder or something. What is it that makes him look sad to everyone else? I can usually read expressions on canids pretty well, too. Hmm... oh well

OH DEAR GOSH! This is amazing! While the expression at first appears sad, there's so much more here. The curiosity at quick glance over the shoulder. Or that quick look back that we humans do to see if anyone seen us trip or stumble. Or watching for a glimpse of approval from a loved one. He is wearing such a great coat, full and neat. This is such a wonderful capture! Your DOF, focus and compostion are all very easy on the eyes! Thank You so much for going ahead and sharing this!!!!

Oh my god. That expression.....is incredible. I love wolves to begin with, and this shot is just really tugging at my heart-strings. It seems to portray the endless plight and misunderstanding of the wolf perfectly. Such beautiful creatures...and such a beautiful shot.
