Description Boy, that nectar is some powerful stuff...not only did it increase muscle mass, but it bulked up the size as well. Throw in some conflicting personalities...

This is my blizzard project. Central Indiana got hit with it's first blizzard in nearly 4 years, and work was cancelled. I had all day to just do artwork and listen to great music (and eat lots of gummy sharks while I was at it). I've got one more Season 7 goody in the works.

BTW, check out the companion story at [link] and the story cover at [link]

When I first looked at this picture the dialogue from an old TV commercial popped into my head:

Amy: "Certs is a candy mint!"
Leela: Certs is a breath mint!"

Certs...boy, that's been a minute ago. I used to nibble those little buggers. Or it could be..."You got chocolate on my peanut butter..."

Thanks! Ton of fun. I'm now starting a serious SF story which isn't about Futurama.

I see. What is it about?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Gulliver63 In reply to Rhys1010 [2013-01-04 00:34:21 +0000 UTC]

It is called "Vanquished Land," and it deals with an alternate America that lost World War 2.

Okay...I'm only about 4 1/2 pages into it.

How long is it going to be?

Gulliver63 In reply to Rhys1010 [2013-01-07 23:27:14 +0000 UTC]

Hard telling at this point, but my typical short story ranges from 15 to 20 pages.

It was very fun reading, I liked how they were amazons and they were shrugging poor Fry off, and then they became giants and they were ready to hit the big time =] I like your style of writing. The paragraphs are broken down well so it's not cluttered.

I need to take a lesson from you about grammar when I write as well. When I read it, I was able to read it with no problems at all. The two girls that Leela and Amy were going up against? are they original characters or from Futurama? I couldn't find any pictures.

The Murderflies were the obnoxious gals they fought against in Butterjunk [link] . I couldn't find a name for them, so I just created two names. Roxanne just sounded like a pushy, obnoxious person.

No, I sure didn't...the idea bit me in the brain this morning, and I just did it. Maybe I'll write one up just for the heck of it and e-mail it around.
