Description Even though this is a very busy time for me, I went ahead and finished this project anyway. The art and the writing projects have helped me through these rough times. I've been exhausted and in need of rest, and the art brings me back to that happy place that I need to go to. I had fun with this digital piece, as I haven't done one in a while. It's also a practice at perspective...

For some reason, this pic reminds me of the Twilight Zone episode, "The Little People", in which a pair of astronauts land on an unknown planet and discover a race of tiny humanoids.  One of the astronauts is soon overwhelmed by megalomania and torments and oppresses the little people, forcing them to worship him as a god.  He forces his partner to get into their ship and take off, leaving him on the planet alone with his "kingdom."  Then, suddenly, he sees two gigantic humanoids towering over him and is accidently crushed by one of them, much to the great joy of the little people.  Leela and Amy certainly fill the bill as giantesses terrorizing a pair of astronauts.  Let's hope they don't wreck their space craft, n'yuk, n'yuk, n'yuk.  Well done.  And I hope things get better for you.

Oh, I'm way ahead of you...I did that one for Halloween one year gulliver63.deviantart.com/art/… . And you're right - that was a good episode. I think the other guy, the one that left, was Claude Akin, from here in Indiana. It's really kind of what happens in Gulliver's Travels, when Gulliver goes from Lilliput to Brobdingag. I love explaining that story to people who don't know much about it - Jonathon Swift was literally a guy who wrote political pamphlets for a living; the whole thing was a rant against the Whig party of England.

You're quite right about Jonathan Swift writing "Gulliver's Travels" as an anti Whig screed.  And yes I did read the story as required for my classic literature unit in college.  It's a pity that this generation doesn't read much of anything let alone the classics of literature.  There was even a moment in the story where Gulliver puts out a fire by peeing on it!  And much of your artwork has a kind of Gulliver theme to it.  Well done.

Oh, and don't forget that the Brobdingnag ladies in waiting had fun balancing Gulliver on their nipples...that was actually in there.

Ah, yes.  I seem to have forgotten that.  Man, I've got to get a copy of that book and re-read it.

Oh yeah, it's in there. And poor Gulliver was horribly miffed by it. Myself, I think I would have somehow suffered through the experience...week after week after...

I don't see how Gulliver can possibly get so ticked off at being balanced on giant boobies.  We should all be so lucky.

That's what I'm saying...I think I would have somehow endured the experience...over and over and...

You and me both, buddy!  Oh well, at least we men have the gift of detailed lascivious dreams.  And some of us such as du et moi are artistically gifted enough to creatively display our dreams and fantasies on paper, canvas or whatever.

::laughs:: I just got done with my first nude in ages; I rarely do them.

Same here.  While I do indulge in partial nudity, as you have no doubt seen in my gallery, I never do full frontal nudity.  I like to keep a little dignity and overall morality not just for myself but also for my viewers and for the ladies I draw.

I'm with you...probably only one or two other people might ever see that. I've only got one "protected" piece in my gallery gulliver63.deviantart.com/art/… , but you can't really see anything. And then I have "Leela and Infant Nibbler" gulliver63.deviantart.com/art/… . This is the PG version that I posted; the nude is sitting at home on my flash drive. I first sketched this while touring the Indianapolis Museum of Art with Kaspired.

Ah, yes.  I remember seeing your interpretation of "The Luncheon on the Grass."  I recently downloaded that classic work of art for future reference in the event I decide to do a humorous version myself.  I think my Rhonda would look good as the unclothed young lady in the foreground.  And, like you, I will make sure nothing of an overt sexual nature will be shown.

I don't know if I've introduced Kaspired to you kaspired.deviantart.com/ - he's up in the SF Bay area, and he flew in to Indiana for our Futurama gathering. He's the one that got me interested in doing the fine art stuff; he knows a lot more than I do about classic art. I think I may have introduced you two, but I don't remember if I did.

I probably wouldn't complain much either...I'd pretty much take it like a trooper and cope with the situation...

Doesn't she? I think the both of them do. It's nice seeing Leela with a chin.

I know you can surpass these rough times, I bet I speak for all of us when I say that the news about your mother is very sad.
If I was one of the Astronauts I would be like "Take me now Amy ♥_♥"
