Personality:

- Critical: Isei may not be what you would call rude, but he does always have something to say. Especially if someone has some kind of retort against him as well. He would not actively put himself into any trouble or try to be too snide...but it can just come out. Isei holds his own opinions quite high, but they could be differed with a good debate. One could take him as blunt, but it's more in the way he is not afraid of what he feels must be said. However, it some situations he can be completely aware of how his attitude is being received. Towards his people of Hoshido though, he can be much less critical compared to someone from Nohr.

- Vindictive: Isei does not take things lightly, and is especially cross with Nohrians. He is one to easily cross, and hold a long time grudge. Revenge will bury in his soul until the score is settled. You could say he is somewhat merciless and unforgiving in his actions and will take certain doings in full offense. He does not fully trust people, although being loyal to Hoshido, he does not know which 'comrades' are completely safe in his mind until established. Isei is not a generally mean person but he does believe in taking whatever measures he deems necessary.
He is one to prove yourself to for him to take in full value of you, if you would like to earn something sincere from him. Trusting someone is different than protecting his people, despite his feelings for you he will stop or ensure his people are alright. Acquaintances are easy to come by but real friendship isn't something he normally will say he has with someone.

+/- Cunning: Isei enjoys mind-games to tricks and puzzles. Get him interested by playing a game or any sort of mind challenge to offer him. When he wants something he will normally go and get it. Weather his means are unethical or not. Usually its done to obtain something in return, or on the flip side just to annoy an opponent. Isei may act like he is some kind of genius, but he can be out-witted rather easily if you have the right tactics.

+ Sociable: Despite his rather cold resting face he gives off, that's just his face! In reality he likes to make his presence known and isn't one to like being ignored. He can be quite a chatterbox and does enjoy socializing with others. Even if he opens his mouth, normally, what initially comes out wont be the nicest he definitely isn't quiet. Being involved in Hoshido's army he wants to be well versed in all his fellow allies in with him. Thus, probably being a bit nosy with any new encounters or touchy in speech. In his extroverted behavior it makes him quite bossy and or domineering. Not being afraid to speak up Isei will quack at you to get things done. Which can be good and bad. Isei definitely retains a smarty-pants mentality even if he is for sure wrong, but that wont stop him in making his pre-established point. However, even if he is sometimes cold in tongue he does and is willing to meet and know everyone. In general he will present himself within first meet warmly with full dignity. Despite, how he could feel about someone that does not matter in the battlefront mentality. Hoshido does come first in his mentality, and he will make sure his fellow teammates are alright.

+ Orderly: Isie likes things spick and span, pristine and untouched. Dirtiness only makes him uncomfortable and feel filthy, and will instantly want to clean his surroundings. Isie definitely has a daily routine for morning and night in which he does not like to be disturbed. If he is around you can ensure things will be tidied and picked up, so if you'd like a clean room you may as well invite him! If you approach a mess you may as well get prepared to turn back around, Isei will definitely confront on your improper appearance!

Family Lineage

The history of Isei's people come from the a lonesome village who humbled themselves in remaining neutral and just. They were not wealthy, nor extremely poor and prospered through the help of each other. Throughout the village, remained talented magic users who also aided their people in times of hostility. Although, a group of these magic users and villagers in the fellow tribe saw the growing wealth and prosperity of Hoshido. The kindness of their people, and bountiful lush area drew the people of Isei. Consulting the head of their village to side, and move close, the headsmen only denied. Still feeling remaining impartial on what would be the best for their people with the always growing tensions between the two kingdoms. This, however, did not make the detached group happy. There were no harsh tensions between the two but his people decided to separate and become their own in Hoshido. Although, they still consider themselves a subtle branch of the clan, and aid them whenever necessary.

Newfound Beginnings

Skipping throughout the future to Isei's family, Isei grew up in the prosperity of his newfound village now in the territory of Hoshido. Although, they weren't noble they had definitely made a name for themselves with their talent in magic, and were inept on passing their gifts down to become benevolent diviners of Hoshido. However, Isei's father did not feel or share the same beliefs as his mother any longer. His father felt as of now the wisdom in the wise village leader that advised them not to separate long ago was correct. Even though that man was now dead, the tribe and its new head still held the same beliefs. His father did not trust Nohr or Hoshido with the growing war he did not believe in, nor this need for a 'name' and 'power' in Hoshido. So, his parents separated and his father returned to the clan they once split apart from. His mother obviously stayed with her own people who prospered in agriculture and magic ailments. His mother is someone who makes spirit tags to ward off bad omens and sells them regularly.

A Villagers Life

Now, Throughout Isei's life and his parents split changed his mindset and ideals. He and his village always held an upmost loyalty to Hoshido which was ingrained into him as well. His peoples beliefs and hostility towards Nohr had struck within him. He had also taken upon himself to be a talent in magic throughout his tribe and felt it his duty to protect them. With a small village he always knew everything about everyone, and soon became a peacemaker between them and the village they separated from. With his parents divorced he did still visit his father and retained their bond despite their ideological differences. He always took in the differences in being a middle ground in lifestyle. From living in the bountiful Hoshido, to the outskirts of a rural farm town. Who were fine even if had the pure basics of necessities. Isei continued to topple back and forth in between each worlds peacefully until a fateful day.

Fateful Decisions

War was beginning and everyone could feel the edge of fear. Villages were being attacked, things were looking grim and unpleasant for the future. Like many others, his people were too attacked by the Nohrians, destroying their crops and ending in some fatalities of his own people. His own mother, alive but hurt, also suffered some dreadful wounds. However, it seemed the attack on his own was stemmed from the growing prominent diviners in his village. They defended themselves as best so as they could, but they too saw the devastating effects of this war. It was then Isei decided he would enlist in the army to protect his people and defend the homeland he cherished. It was then he traveled to his father to tell him of the news and his final decision. The two did not see eye to eye, and his father denounced him joining the army. A feud rose among father and son. Beginning quite like this, short and with a quick conclusion.

"I do not understand, how you can remain...neutral?! Why those...those...Nohrian Scum pillage and ravage INNOCENT people! OUR people, Mother?!"

"Son, you are naive to think joining the army will suddenly end hostilities forever! Our people are safe! Secure with our neutrality! If you and your mother came to live here, with me again, you would see!"

"No, NO! I will not see while they continue their army on Hoshido! You think neutrality is key...this village will not remain unscathed either way. You must believe I am doing this for you too. I love you but, my mind is not changed. I must do this."

"Isei...I will never be okay with your decision, but please...Do not let people earn your trust so easily. I love you too, son."

✦ Ending this debacle, Isei went to go and debate on his decision. Suddenly, feeling slightly conflicted but he knew where his heart was at. Did he really only care about his fathers opinion? No, he needed a sign. Although his heart was in it either way the voice of his father echoed in the back of his mind. Causing the slightest bit of waiver before he went to go as a recruit. Following the days news of the explosion between Hoshido and Nohr and both of their commanders, Tomoyo and Adeline, going missing was his sign. Was this what Nohr has come to? Was their general dead?It had to be their enemies nations fault correct? Tensions rose as word skyrocketed to his ears. Yes, his heart was correct this whole time, he had to protect his people in any way he could. That marked his making to join the army of Hoshido. ✦

Despite their disagreements his father instilled something in his son they could both agree on. "Do not trust easily." With that even with his fathers disapproval, Isei felt he knew what needed to be done. With that, he enlisted in the army in high hopes.
