A little about this character:

Hellena Stanton is a Sarcomancer. She can control blood, bone and flesh. She's smart, cynical and sheltered. Under the impression that she knows how the world works, she sometimes confuses her intelligence with wisdom (which she is severely lacking).

Her hand isn't always a scythe. It - and other parts of her - can be almost any tool the occasion calls for. Having said that, she is the type to sit back and let the help do most of the work for her. If she's not careful to move her nerves out of the way, self-sarcomany hurts a lot.

Despite her cold, contrarian demeanor towards most people and their opinions, she does try her hardest to be kind. And although she won't ever admit it, she's very thankful for all of Mr. Steadflan's assistance thus far.
