Description On nights like this he dreams of red
He dreams of honey-gold beams of light
Stealing across her hair

Some nights he dreams of blue
Blue city lights, blue skies and laughing blue eyes

Other nights he dreams of pink
Pink skin, pink blush and pink parted lips
And the constellations of freckles across her skin

And then the dream clears
And all he's left with is the bright daze
The afterglow of the pyrotechnics in the sky

He looks at the honey-gold in his hand
And he knows it's not the same
He looks at the sky lighten to blue before him
And he knows it's not the same

He raises his glass to her, wherever she is.
