To be honest, I was fairly confident before this that it was still probably close to (if not in) Apatosaurus as a distinct species, but now having restored this (& looking at my preliminary scalings for ajax) I’m not entirely sure. It’s definitely distinct imo on the species level, but it can go either way generically. For now I’m probably just gonna place it as temporarily distinct generically as well pending more Tschopp research.

well unfortunately as cool as it is, immanis is not the type species of the genus so the name is not tied to it, but rather the enigmatic & poorly described Atlantosaurhs montanus.

If anything I’m planning on spending more time working on dinosaurs (which is possible given the vastly reduced working hours the Navy has me on right now & a significantly reduced interest in gaming at the moment). I have not previously nor anytime soon made plans to stop posting dinosaurs completely, they mean too much to me to stop completely.
