i'm really happy with the nose/mouth area. hair, not so much. but then, hair is not my division
this wasn't how i expected it to turn out, i was going for realism, but then halfway through random blending i decided to add a bit of hatching to give it that sketchy look, so now it has both and looks kinda graphic-ish. i have no idea how to describe it. =/ then i was in a dilemma of whether to add that grey shadow thing to make the highlights on his face more obvious, which adds to that graphic-ish look. anyway. this is as daring as i am going to get with photoshop for the time being. it scares me. there are so many tools and so many brushes and colours and stuff i can never decide on using which. pencils are simple.
