Here are some weapon designs I've made for a Fantasy story I'm working on. When I first did research on Firearms for my Westerns I became Fasinated with High Calibure weapons. The rifle is a Black powder 56. shoulder-arm that packs a real punch. The pistol towards the bottom is a different concept of a "Pepper-Box" pistol wich in reality was SAFER to be in front of when fired because of its poor accuracy and design. My version (because its fictional) doesn't have those problems. Like the Pepper-Box it uses a cap-n-ball system for fireing. I wanted these weapons to have a Victorian style to them wich I think I've accomplished.*YOU MUST COMMENT IF YOU FAV!!!!*

Nicely done. The pistol reminds me of a volley gun. I'd hate to fire the thing though...

Actualy it was more inspired by a "Peper Box" pistol. essencialy a revolver without a barrel, they were HORRIBLY inaccurate!
So I took that concept and modified it, I decided to take the cylender and it functions like a peper box but the chambers also funshion as barrles.

I really like the look of these sketches... You hit the victorian feel dead on, the details and ornamentation are great! Very cool!

I think the gun may look better without that "bubble" like thing under the handler ^^, but AMAZING design as always

Thanks, the reson for the "Bubble" is because of the styling for the era. The pistol itself is remnicent of the 18th century but slightly modernized. On many pistols from that era had similar decorations on (In weapon terms) the "butt".

Accutualy its a Rifle. In the early days the first rifles were quite large. The "Kentucky Long Rifle" was on of the largest, the barrel alone was around 6 feet long! And I think it came in 67. to boot!!!
