Each generation of Skylines has its own pros and cons, the right question should be "Is it possible for you to drive them all?"

I think I agree with you on the R33 too, it's just right [not too plain but not too wild].
Last year at college I spotted a grey R32, it made my head flip! [and made me feel proud to own a Nissan xP] I got up close, and while it's true the styling is simple and not shouty I personally appreciate that over the aggressiveness of the R35 any day. I was surprised that it was smaller than I expected.

Your right, the nismo v-spec version was better than then plain v-spec...but i feel they made the new gtr too good out of the box. The original skylines were almost made to be tuned
