Description Nowadays the coastal cities run their trades by sea, signing the end, or nearly, of the old land commercial routes, and completely speaking of the desert routes. But even today sometimes merchants cross the desert, and they are one of the best sight for all the tribes of the Great Nothing and around it, usually forsaken from the rest of the world: the dwarven merchants, who come regularly (but not too often) down from their mountain dwellings in the southeast, get camels on rent from the steppe people to pack their goods. They are a welcome sight for everyone, for different reasons: they bring disparate trading goods, some of one are in the range of the desert people; as travellers they need water and resting points, steadily assured by locals (for a price, goes without saying), and for some they are a tasty prey for a raid, even if they know the short merchants bring armed escorts and are dangerous foes to mess with. And at last, even if not the most expansive kin in the world, they bring news from the vast world, and very rarely some other exotic guests accompanying them!
