Heres a little something i did for fun. :>Erza from Fairy Tail.
Ive been reading the manga for sometime, not the anime version.
Thats why she migh look a bit diferent, i used the manga color pages as reference.

you really do hair and clothes extremly well, for little pixels the details amazing and the simple animation on it works nicely. Good to see more stuff from ya

Im trying to make them look less cartoony, but the heads always end up bigger than the body, or the proportions not right.

I think it's more stylized then nessarly cartoony, making em perfect anatomical and pixely and cute is a tough thing to do, good you wanna improve but I think you're doing a good job so far with your current style.
