I tried -twice !- to enter WorldOfWarcraft in a demo version, and all I got was crap. I finally had to give up as the game would not start. At least in Grepolis I was able to start -tho trying to play, to establish contact with another city was like pulling teeth ! I finally shut down my account and just - walked away.

And we again observe the reason why only one forge exists in Teldrassil, the magical (aka psionic resonance) matrices required to manufacture Damage-Attracting Mega-Armour (DAMA) are too complicated to just make anywhere, so it was better to have a centralized location.
DAMA systems allow for maintenance of speed and agility, attacks will be deflected toward the armour, so instead of piercing through the plating of a human footman's plate armour an arrow will safety glance off or be stopped dead by the much thicker plating of a Night Elf's shoulder pauldron, even if it had initially been going for her head. It also saves massively on weight.
However, total damage absorption capabilities over time are somewhat inferior to Damage-Distributing Armour (DDA) which deflects part of the impact energy over the whole surface of the armour, as seen in most male armour choices. the fact that DDA also tends to make one look more intimidating is another reason why most men prefer them, Rouges excluded. there is also the fact that men tend to be too dumb or slow to evade warhammers anyhow, so the one weakness of DAMA systems is enforced for them a lot more than it tends to be for females.

This is lovely! It's more of a generic elf rather than a Night Elf as there are some critical elements from the Nelfs missing. But I do like it a lot. And it wouldn't be fantasy if the female characters didn't have skimpy armour...
