Description DanyakuArts offered me to draw Nessa from Pokémon or Nejire from My Hero Academia. In the end, I chose the latter. In addition, he did send a swimsuit reference for the request. Nejire has a turquoise one-piece with a crocheted keyhole on top. Also, I wanted to have Nejire's hairdo a bit better when I found an interesting ancient Roman hairdo I saw on Pinterest, and it had a little bun tied on the back on her head and chose to draw it. Finally, her pose is based on the Michelangelo's David since I love to add classical ideas on what I draw. Nejire has her left left leg standing in front of her right leg heroically while clasping her left hand like the statue. I added some silver eyeliner on Nejire's eyes because I wanted to make her sexier with dignity. Also, I added a silver heart-shaped necklace for an extra touch of cuteness. For the background, I chose to add the colors from this year's Belmont Stakes winner Arcangelo. Arcangelo did come to run in the Belmont after winning the last race's traditional prep, the Peter Pan, a few weeks before. When the gate opened, Arcangelo did have a great start and got the rail in 3rd. The horse got up to 4th after the first 1/2 mile as National Treasure led. Jockey Javier Castellano was quite patient with his mount throughout the backstretch with energy stored throughout. Arcangelo began to move up seriously after the 3/4 mile while riding the rail and began to get closer towards National Treasure. After dueling with the leader in the far turn. Arcangelo got the lead in the stretch and had a 3-length lead. However, a 4-horse avalanche began to close up towards the leader within 100 yards left. Yet, Arcangelo held off the threat to win the Belmont by a length and a half. It was historical for a few reasons. One, Javier Castellano got his first Belmont win after 14 attempts, closing on a special run when he won the Kentucky Derby with Mage several weeks back. On the 50th anniversary of Secretariat's historic Triple Crown run, it was so special with trainer Jena Antonucci. It wasn't just her first Belmont win, but she became the first female trainer to win a Triple Crown race. Over the last several years, people have seen women competed even further in men's sports and continue to break the ceiling. That win in New York proves that a lot. "Nejire te kotiro raumati" means "Nejire the Summer Girl" in Māori because of a loose reference from a filler episode in the 5th season. The rising blue rose next to Nejire showed the reference to Arcangelo's silks and her amazing beauty, respectively. I did add a golden eagle for a personal touch in order to complement Nejire's beauty. It was almost similar to four years ago when one of my fellow watchers asked me to draw Nejire in a swimsuit, and it felt right to draw her like that. Additionally, I did improve on Nejire's lower areas from 4 years ago but kept them a bit masculine. I do hope that the shading was much better on the drawing, but I had lots of creativity to make it possible. I hope that DanyakuArts loves this request.
