I had this drawing in mind for the last few weeks as I was making this. Though I made petrification drawings before, I wanted to include Urusei Yatsura characters. The drawing shows Lum and Kurama getting turned into the Venus de Milo and Michelangelo's David in torso form, respectively. I can believe that Lum and Kurama wanted to prove to themselves on which one of them is the best extraterrestrial girl by going to a museum. I thought that they would enjoy the fine arts, but what little they know would be they'll be part of a collection. From there, Lum and Kurama's respective bodies began to stiffen as they're going to be marble torsos. Lum would have drapery on her hips as her arms would be gone since she'll be the Venus de Milo. Kurama would have her slingshot on her left shoulder albeit she'll be armless and heroic as Michelangelo's David. Also, their legs have become marble bases since they can't move. Finally, their heads will be separated since the torsos are headless and limbless. Those extraterrestrial beauties can't do anything to break the petrification spell away. The drawing is in Arabic, which means "Lum and Kurama's Petrification". It goes like this: تحجر لوم وكوراما. It would refer to the girls' reaction on their petrification. However, I needed to do something with their respective bodies since the Venus de milo and Michelangelo's David do have nudity. Luckily, I managed to cover their breasts with some cloth to avoid any nudity problems. Yet, it didn't take away any classical flavors I had in this drawing. In addition, it was my 1st time drawing Lum and Kurama with brand new hair colors because of the recent revival. I can hope I had enough shading with Lum and Kurama and their respective marble bodies, but I would be happy with the finished product. It'll be a matter of time until museum visitors do see Lum and Kurama's bodies without the heads.
