Finished sketch commission from ~Darlenewolfen to ~LukoiI must say that this sketch worked out nicely from its draft stage; I am really happy with the pose and overall look of the sketch. I did use a reference for the raven parts of Jager's raven form. (Darlenewolfen's own character)
The draft had Lukoi's left foot showing over the tail, but I decided to pull the tail forward and hide it since it kinda looked awkward.

Oh wow! I soo wish I could draw like that!! Could you make a tutorial on how to draw/shade like that? Or something ^^ I have been trying soo hard but cant >.<

I fear that it may take me a while to put a tutorial together, but I will surely do it.

All you need is a pencil (either a drawing pencil or plain old #2 writing pencil will work) and blending stub. If you don't have any of those pre-made stubs, tearing off a piece of paper and rolling it into a tube is just as useful.
My personal tips are to first figure out which direction you want your light source to come from. Everything facing away from the light source will have the shadows.
Start shading with very light pencil pressure, then gradually shade again with slightly harder pencil pressure to begin darkening. Once you like the intensity of your shadows, use the blending stub (store bought or home made) to gently smooth out the pencil in light circular motions. If you don't feel confident to start off on a large image at first, test yourself out on small little drawings.

Maybe i should, but i always get pencil work dirty/smudgy with my hand. Sucks being a lefthanded taught to draw/write like a righhanded person. X_X

Oh wow... I'm not even sure what to say... this is probably the only picture that really captures Demon Lukoi. Its perfect in every way and I cant see even one thing wrong with it. thank you SO much for accepting this commission from Darlene, I appreciate it more than you could ever know!
