Returning from college, Pete didn't pay much attention for details when he saw the red-brown private car waiting for him as usual when he came out the prestigious school building.
His father insisted on having a private driver take him and return him from school. The billionaire's son was too much of a target for criminals.
Pete thought it was somewhat exaggerated and therefore missed the hours after school hanging out with his friends.

As he got into the car, which drove off immediately, Pete noticed it wasn't Jake, the regular driver, who was behind the wheel in his dark blue uniform and sunglasses.
"Where's Jake?"
The answer came with a click of the car door and suddenly they turned left towards a deserted road.
Pete instinctively tugged on the car's door handle, but to no avail. When the car abruptly stopped, he looked down the barrel of a huge gun pointing at his forehead.
"Now let's say hello to Jake, boy"

The man forced Pete to get out and open the trunk. Jake was wearing nothing but his boxers and was tied up to his hands and feet. His black socks had been used to make a solid gag with a large knot in the middle, filling his mouth.
"Take him out, he's useless to me"

Moments later, the former driver was left tied to a tree, watching the car pull away at high speed, driven by whoever was wearing his uniform and poor Pete in the trunk.

Instead of Jake, the rich boy was now the one who was helplessly bound and gagged in the back of the car. Fortunately, he was allowed to keep his clothes on for the time being.
Hopefully for him the ransom was paid soon...
