Sardinian FolkloreMostro della tradizione sarda, assimilabile all'Uomo Nero che porta via i bambini che non si comportano bene. Passa di casa in casa ascoltando se qualche bambino fa i capricci. In alcune zone della Sardegna viene associato al diavolo.
A monster typical of the Sardinian tradition, similar to the Boogeyman, who takes away children who do not behave good. The Mommotto goes from house to house, waiting for any child to throw a tantrum. In some areas of Sardinia it is associated with the devil.
