Description
Well here's Ultrox (name may change--think it sounds better for a villain) for Aspyre Comics. His real name is Dane Travers. And he was a small-time repeat criminal...while fleeing the police one night he got shot in the leg and fell out a three-story window to the ground...an alien capsule was on the ground (waiting for him actually) and he landed on it, the capsule piercing his chest. (that's what you see on his chest and back--it is actually completely through his body) The capsule held an alien entity which spread itself throughout Dane's body rewriting his DNA code...thus granting him powers and encasing his body in an alien armor. The alien then took over flying him out into space where Dane awoke the next day floating in space and pretty traumatized...lol...after realizing he wasn't dead and finding out about some of his powers he started to feel like he had a second chance at life and proclaimed himself earth's border policeman. The alien inside him can communicate through small whispers in his mind...almost like just another thought in your mind...Dane does not know that there is an alien inside of him....yet....I traced the outline from Drawing Cutting Edge Anatomy by Christopher Hart...one o' my fave how to books...

By the way sorry about not gettin the colored versions of your characters to you when i said i would have them done. My computer got messed up so I'm usin my friends computer. He don't have photoshop tho.

Well, I did trace the outline of him from one o' my anatomy books...for speed...just wanted to get the design out there...lol...I'm not sure anyone will ever wanna make a movie from anything I do...lol....but thanks for that!

im not so sure you are right, i think they are really interesting concepts and they have a lot for a writer to build on

i dig him. don't worry about the name. most characters have ambiguous sounding names. honestly are Wolverine isn't exactly the friendliest nomenclature out there. just keep coming up with great character designs and great storylines and i'll be happy.

sweet costume and origin! i think that the name ultrox is good for a hero with his origin. i had a feeling that you traced that anatomy! i traced the anatomy in a dif book so i could do the costume designs for megahertz and most of his villians!

well actually he is my uncle's hero! he started off called the mp3 shinobi. im glad he changed it, but now he wants to changethe costume design!

I love the center pose! That rear view shot makes him seem intense. I like having bad guy names for good guys too(Grudge, Inferno) I think it adds a deeper element to the character. I like the description enough to do a fanart... soon. I still want a Grudge from you!
Also I assume something happens to compel him to be Earths border patrolman, and he doesn't just wake up and go, "Hey I got powers! I'm gonna be a superhero!" Because if I got powers all of a sudden (mind you, I'm Saved like you) I'd be a super villain!... well at first anyway... until my bills got paid... lol...

Actually I figured he knows he should be dead...then wakes up in space...that's pretty awe-inspiring in itself...so he feels like GOD has given him a 2nd chance to clean up and do right...plus that alien is speaking to him like a thought...and he doesn't know about the alien yet...we'll see...lol

Well I want him to be pretty powerful to protect earth's border...his skin is a different color (haven't decided yet) from the DNA re-write! I'm having trouble with powers though so if you have any ideas...lemme know...help! I'm not sure which team he'd fit better in...that's a hard decision...maybe the SE...he is trying to live life better with his 2nd chance an all but he was a criminal...

how about a dark orange skin tone.?? Light blue is more atlantean in nature.. but he could be green.. I mean so what if the hulk is green, our universe could break that mold.. though i like the orange idea..The SE sounds good for him..
