Description These earrings are truly unique! One is predominantly silver with gold accents while the other is predominantly gold with silver accents.

The perfectly matched ear wires, filigrees, movements, and gear dangles alternate between colors for a beautiful Harlequin effect. The ear wires are sterling silver and gold-filled, each with a 3mm stardust (sparkly) ball of its respective color.

These are gorgeous! There's so many components but they all come together beautifully.

It sort of bothers me they aren't the same colour! Hahaha.

I think it's a lovely, stunning contrast, even if I'm too OCD to wear them The gears at the bottom are my favourite part! However did you find matching but opposite coloured watch gears like that?

Am I correct in thinking that the one has the ruby crystals while the other seems to sport amethyst?

Lol!

It is surprising how many companies use the same or similar watch parts and designs. I believe those came from two different companies, yet look like they were cast from the same mold! Many companies have the same shapes and same gear placements, but different colors and embelishments, as if to say, "No, we're not copying you. You can tell by how our movement has little silver plates around the gems where yours have gold."

It kind of looks like one has purple gems and the other has red, doesn't it? They do both have rubies, but the warm/cool toned settings make them look different. Or maybe one's just more purple and the other is more pink.

It also very well could have been the angle they were photographed from, as well as the lighting. . .

I have yet to find a decent pocket watch. I have had absolutely zero luck. I'm going to start haunting antique shops.

Check Salvation Army and Good Will for pocket watches. They may not have them on display, but workers can pull them out for you. Also, though eBay usually has insanely high prices, you can get a real bargin if you can catch a listing ending in the middle of the day on a weekday. Good luck!

I checked good will, as I'm not sure if we have a salvation army near by, and they didn't have any! The only place I visited that had any was the antique shop, that closed the next day for the summer. All of their watches were broken.

Etsy had some fairly cheap and unimpressive ones, perhaps I'll just get one of those?

Ah, sorry that you're having such trouble.

Etsy sounds like a plan. I always like knowing that my money is going to an individual rather than a huge company. It makes me feel like my purchase is important instead of just a number.
