Probably one of the coolest photos I got of Flandre. *0* The wings have LEDs in them and they light up! I even programmed them to blink in time to Flandre's theme "UN Owen Was Her?" because I am the biggest nerd there ever nerded.Thanks to Jason of i360.com for the photo!

Just curious, how much did it cost to make the wings?
I saw a video of them on youtube a while back, flashing to the music.

Just the microcontroller itself was about $30 but the raw materials for the wings were fairly cheap. Of course, this isn't counting the cost of going to college and studying electrical engineering.

I actually want to have LED-lit fiberoptic strands in my KOS-MOS wig (not all of it, just scattered ones XD) and was really confused as to how I could make that happen. (there are hairclips sold that light up but they aren't long enough and I wanted to distribute them a little more) Do you think you could help me with that? =O

Fiberoptics? I'm not entirely familiar with working with those but they seem like they'd be simple enough. Hmmm, I'd have to do some research on that but I'm definitely interested!

Awesome~ All I know is fiberoptics just need a light source no matter how long the strand is and it will work XD I'd like to figure out how those hairclips work, because the power source is pretty small and obscure. I'd want something that I could easily disguise. I'm thinking about buying one to dissect lol

LEDs are really super simple. They're a battery, a resistor, and some wire and done. You could probably hide the battery in the headpiece visor thing. Heck, you could make the visor glow too while you're at it! Eee, that sounds so awesome already! *0*
