I've never seen another artisan make a functional quilling mask, and truly the hours of research and crafting was a huge undertaking!There are five species of cherry blossom represented with dew in swarovski crystals. The mask is so fine and thin that instead of ties, it's adhered to the face with spirit gum.
I'm very proud of making my quilling masks, and I think so far that this is the height of my work. : )

haha! well if you go to anyones gallery, click browse which is on the left hand side, and then scroll down before the comments and you will see "also see:________Daily Deviations" or something like that, it shows you them

Definitely. I once saw pictures of quilling online and I thought the pieces I found were amazing. I have only really done some small pieces, but I've always wanted to do more. I suggest you ask my photographer! Tim is very talented, and very specific about his choices in lens : ) I can tell you though that he uses canon

The challenge with making anything to be worn with paper quiling is durability... I think for a mask this is exquisite. It's very pretty. I love the sweeping feal of the "branches", clever use of the space for the eye.
