lol... well it's not just Aoki-sensei, but all the hundreds of staff and animators that contributed to the originals. So kinda unfair to say your art doesn't match them when it's really you vs. a whole TEAM + who knows how many years of experience.
So if you factor that and level the playing field properly, you did damn good! ^^b

All of episode 9 just tore me up inside. And Kyoko's final sacrifice was beautiful, self-serving, and heroic all at once. No soul gems or grief seeds left behind, their souls are finally free.
