And is a winter break like a summer break, but all winter, instead? (In Australia we have holidays that go for about 2 weeks in between each term, and one that goes for about twice that long at the end/beginning of the year. So I don't really know...)

Oh! *Laughs* You're from the southern hemisphere. It will be winter break for me from mid-December to mid-January. I have a month off. For summer, though, I get three months off from late May to late August.

Well, we get one month of around christmas and new years, maybe a bit longer. But the most we normally get is around three weeks, if you exclude the christmas holidays (breaks).

Oops! My bad! I worded that wrong! Heheh! if you include the Christmas holidays we get about four holidays each year, starting school around Australia day (January 26). We then have Easter Holidays, which go for about three weeks, then we go back to school, learn, then we have the 2 week holiday for the end of term, then go back, then have ANOTHER holiday. Uh, I think we have three in between, and then we have the big one, that stretches from the end of the year to the new year... So we get breaks! I wouldn't exactly say we're all Brain-boxes over where I am! Hahah! We're not constantly learning! (Thank Goodness) Fault on my part!

Ah, I see! I was about to say...not even some parts in China are that rigorous. *Laughs* But it's interesting to see how the school system works in different countries.
