I've also tried experimenting with pentagonal-based flames, most of which boil down to stars. I really like the way you executed on your colour scheme, it looks like you really took a lot of time experimenting with different gradients and how they relate to different gamma/brightness/vibrancy values. Well done, beautiful flame.
