This poor soul has stepped into a Hot Topic for the first time in a few years... His life is now a hideous rainbow abyss. Oh where art thou DARKNESS?!! WHERE!!? WHERE ARE THE GOTH CHILDREN THESE DAYS?!You know... it's pretty sad that I find more gothic apparel in Claire's than in Hot Topic. Ohhh, Hot Topic... why can't you be the way you were in the early 2000's and back. I don't understand how a place can sell Justin Bieber shirts right beside Cradle of Filth ones. v.v

The one where I live is pretty much the same as it's always been, except the fact that they have a small rack of jB merch in the back, but me and my friends always cover it up with other cds and band tees.

The Hot Topic near where I live was like that for a month or so and then they started getting back all of their cool gothic stuff!They still don't have Dark Street back and I was sad that they discontinued it off even their website (I really wanted some cool boots and TRIPP pants...) but now they have some really awesome corset tops back there and some more darker themed jewellery like chokers and stuff it looks a lot better! Curse those dark days when they had Justin Bieber shirts all over the place! *shivers*

sorry, but as of today things and company like HotTopic are changing for children or as you said to stay in business. and in my HotTopic it's more MLP and lil wyane and things of nature. And if Goth Other style like them like scene and Emo are going out of style then there ging to be a problem w/ me and m friends...still wish thing would stop changing.

Yeah, that kind of stuff is in Hot Topic as well. And not /everything/ is awful in there... just most of it is different from before, which I despise.
And I thought emo already went out. (I hope not though, because I kind of liked the emo style as well) I wish it just remained the same. X) But oh well, now us creepers have to get creative with our clothes shopping/clothes altering. Which is actually a good thing. :9

my Hot Topic has both, I kinda like compared to most of the stores in my mall. I learn about alot of bands there...but it was pretty sad when they only sold Twilight crap there for a solid month.

I was in line with my cousin and my aunt, and there was a girl who looked to be around 12 years old with her mom. I could hear her talking about my backpack (my backpack is a bear, by the way), she was like "oh look! her backpack is a bear!, which I don't mind. But then I could feel her touching it and messing with its ears. So then I said "I DON"T LIKE WHEN PEOPLE TOUCH MY STUFF!" really loud, and then turned around and stared at her for a few seconds and turned back around. After that her mom was like "ok leave the bear alone" lol xD
