Description Ufling, UFO PKMN
I tried a different style this time, trying to replicate Sugimori's watercolor appearance of first Generation. Did i succeed?
Anyway this is the pre-evolution of GUNORAI , my alien PKMN

UFLING, Cosmic/Psychic. UFO + -LING, or UFO + FLING
ABILITY: 80% Levitate or 20 % ABDUCTION [link]
POKEDEX ENTRY
UFLING is the most curious of PKMN. Especially at night, the lights under its belly continuously flash and change colour while it wanders everywhere it can, attracted by everything: for this reason it could be difficoult to train, but once you draw its attention it learn fast and well. If it feels lonely during its wandering, it catches another PKMN with its three limbs to become friends or it looks for other UFLINGs: when three of them gather together, they evolve in ALUNAR
[EVOLVES: in ALUNAR .] if released in open space
---
Its evolution works this way: the player catches an UFLING, then he have to travel in open space by using the shuttle in the Space Center... there he will be asked by an astronaut of the Orbital Station if he wants to release the ufling in the open space... say yes, and after a certain amount of time you'll be informed that the ufling is returned and that is now a GUNORAI (ufling's level + 5). In this way the middle stage -Alunar-is jumped, as it can exists only in space. You can catch it in the wild though.

Really great attempt at Sugimori's first style. By the way, if you don't mind me asking, how do you do your format, the circles underneath each pokemon?

No problem :} I work with different layers in photoshop, a layer for each circle.. the more the circle is external, the lower the opacity. Then i blend the layers together and transform them as i like, adding textures etc... as you can notice, i often change the overall appearence of this format because i like to experiment, but i keep the general structure

Cute! I like these better than their evolution.
