I don't own any sword, this is just "artwork" based on downloaded photo reference
to your questin: So far I know, these swords are mostly just wallhangers - of course you may try to use them, but the blade will probably break at first occasion...

Anyway: the reason why I thing kit-rae (and other) fantasy/movie/good-looking-extremely-decorated/strangely-shaped swords will nor work in real life is:
1) crafting method - usable swords are made in small series or individually. Every piece is uniqe, and crafting ( = smithing etc.) takes lot of time and effort. Fantasy swords are just assembled from machine-made pieces (molded blade = worst crap ever)
2) physical limitations - for example look at the Luciendar's blade. It's crash point is righ under the cross-guard, in it's narrowest point. "Standart" medieval sword has nothing like this but the blade in this point is same (or stronger) as it is in the middle.
3) price - $100 is enough for junk or nice wallhanger, not for usable sword.
btw: I'd recommend sites like [link] , because of the customer reviews and ratings (check the Luciendar for example). For fighting is best choice real sword - it's far more better than nifty cool looking things that breaks in your hand after three swings

Fantasy is not about functionality but apperance. Usable AND good looking sword is quite rare (and expensive) thing...

Arrows are good for chain mail too. It IS a bunch of little holes after all.

It looks great... The textures are really nice. I think that the neck of the blade is a little narrow towards the handle, showing a possible weekness in the blade, but other then that, great job!

No když si třeba píšu k nějaký postavě inv. tak vždycky se mě pak PJ ptaj 'a jakej je ten meč?' a já na to 'no prostě normální meč' a oni 'no a to je takovej, nebo takovej a nebo třeba takovej s tímhle a .....' a já úplně nechápu vždycky
