It's a matter of trust I guess. I tend to keep tabs on where my art and designs go, so I know who truly owns them. If someone steals them, they'll reap what they sow, aka they'll have consequences. Not only from myself but DeviantArt as well and their reputation will forever be tarnished and others won't trust them. So it's a matter of whether they're willing to ruin their reputation for a lifetime or just simply note me asking where this pony is or if they're interested in a custom from myself.
