Description
This is my persian that I had to put down because he developed a tumor in his neck and was spreading into his brain. I would not let him suffer. I had this cat for 12 years and received him when he was 8 weeks old from a friend that was a breeder of Persians. He was the runt and had markings that would not make him buyable, even though he was pure bred and had papers. This boy was the sweetest and coolest cat I ever had. His real name on his papers is Boregard McGuiness III but we called him "8-Ball" because he looked like an 8 Ball when he was curled up in a ball sleeping. LOL -
This is a scanned photo and I will work on removing the white marks in this later. Just wanted to share this with you guys.

What a beauty he was! Strange how we can love animals more than some people. Well not really strange, a good thing, actually. Animals never hurt you deliberately. They protect their territory and their young. We should all take lessons from them.

I know how close animals can become to you. My family has always had tons of animals. We put down our oldest cat, Angel, a while back... That was rough for me, as she stayed in my room in her later years and always slept in the bed with me. Ever since we had my cat Orion he's been up here with me, and I love him so much. WE currently have about nine cats right now.

Oh my goodness you have 9 cats that is a lot. I love them. They are so devoted and so easy to take care of. I would never have another dog. I like all that cat hair and cleaning the litter box over having to take the dog out in cold weather for a walk etc. I love the quietness of the cats too.

Yeah, although when I've been gone from hold, Orion's a bit loud and won't leave me alone until I show him the proper amount of affection. I do love him, though. Much nicer than our ADHD puffball that is our Pomeranian, Foxy.

Yeah, but she is a big puffball. Most of her size comes from her puffy fur. XD You should see her after a bath.

XD I think we used to have a Persian a long time ago... Doberge was his name. I don't recall if we ever did bathe him though. He was an inside cat.

I have always kept my cats inside. I bathed him and kept his fur clean and brushed out because if I didn't he had a tendency to tangle and I did not want him to mat up.

Yeah he was a cool guy. Everybody loved that cat. He was so sweet and never bit anyone. He used to lay on my long hair and sleep in it. LOL

He was gorgeous.. He looks a lot like Tulip's daddy, BlackJack. I have a thing for Persians.. There is something about them that sets them apart.. I think the runts make the best pets.. They need special care at first, but what they give back is pure joy..

Yeah, Arioch, my big tiger striped gray tabby died in 2001. I still mourn daily. Only pet I've ever spent $200 on for cremation.

I had my Persian cremated and his ashes are in an urn in my living room. You know they become family man. I have these 2 now that I will do the same thing to. I love these little girlies and one is getting old.

Oh yes ... I have several more, but I love this picture of him out on the breezeway amongst the flowers in the pots. I have this one framed and it sits on my desk. He was my first cat and I loved him so much. I have some adorable kitten pios in a box that I need to drag out and scan.

Yes he was ... It is a scan and there are some white marks in this, but I am going to try to redo it later.
