awwwwwww ... You had a make calico? That is rare. Very rare. Calico's are all females. You sure that you had the sex right?? My cats stay in ... don't have to worry about them getting smashed by a car or truck.

I don't know about cat breeds. It was somekind of mix with those colors, black, biege and white. I could remember the sex wrong, but it sure never had kittens

Calico is usually orange black and white. But some are beigeish color instead of orange. It might have been spayed (fixed) ... did you see any balls hanging down? LOL

I don't know much about Persians, but I had two grey tigerstripe tabbys that lived to about 19. I had them both from kittens, and other than a couple of escapes, they were one hundred percent indoor cats, which I guess is one of the major increases for feline longevity.
Most of my friends cats has lasted 17 - 20, with the guy who gave me Och and Jr. (my tigrrrs) 2 cats (an orange stripe and an immense black and white spots) cats living over 20.

Wow ... Mine are indoors and hopefully they will live a long life. The older cat has stomach distress and she has a tendency to upchug after she eats sometimes. I think I am going to have to put her on softer food.

Stubbs is either 10 or 11, and wheezes sometimes when she sleeps, and has the same puking problem, but though it doesn't happen often, it sometimes happens in mid-sow-out.
I do not know the cause.

Sometimes I think mine has a giant hairball in there and she can't get her food to pass through. I try to give her hairball treatment and she takes off like a streak of lightning. The little black kitty licks it right up and has no probs. The black kitty has real soft fur like a rabbit does, but the calico has a stiffer fur.

Yes she does ... She is almost 12 now and is slowing down quite a bit.
