I found this piece there. I wouldn't click the first one, as it's probably NOT a safe website, but I thought I would tell you. The second one is a website about ps tutorials that had an ad to get to the first link... Sorry I said that so confusingly, I just think that it's unfair your art's getting stolen...

Hello and thank you for your time. My wife and I recently almost purchased Adobe cs5, then due to a situation that arrived decided not to, but adobe took our money anyway, even after we told them to cancel our order. To make a long story short, after several hours of frustrating phone calls and 3 different stories, we have decided adobe will never EVER get our money. I was wondering if you could pass along some software recommendations for us to purchase as an alternative to photoshop cs5. thank you very much

I dont know if there are any REAL good alternative to photoshop, but you could try gimp, but i found a bit confusing its interface tough...
