This is my first ever completed master study. I've never done this before and it was really hard to force myself to not colour pick, but I learnt soooo much. The original piece is Albert Bierstadt's The Golden Gate. I didn't get anywhere near to the level of detail in his piece, but I didn't zoom in at all during this exercise. I didn't have a great deal of time so I really wanted to work on capturing the colours and training my eye to understand colour theory and values. I hope you like it and any constructive criticism would be gladly welcomed. Also any advice to do with master studies would be really appreciated as I am self teaching at the moment.
