Description The Moring’s Rise and the Night’s Fall,
In life the best of friends, brothers by oath and war forge allies. In their reign Grangea and the northern territories had never know such peace prosperity, even the looming threat of the Followers and their twisted magic was but a fleeting and faded memory in the back of their minds.

King Morningstar, groomed from youth to lead the Morningstar armies, he was a brilliant strategist and held reserved demeanor fit only for a King. Though he was the younger of the two, his wisdom was far beyond his years and served to temper the mighty fury and inexperience of High King Luminas. He was respected all across Grangea, even by his enemies. Betrayed by his son and stabbed in the back, King Morningstar took his demise with all the grace of Kings past.

High King Luminas, the youngest to ever take the crown and by far the mightiest. High King Luminas was a beacon of power and Warrior King near unmatched, while King Morningstar took time securing trade routes and making allies, High King Luminas took the battle to his enemies directly and ensured no outside threat would ever loom over Grangea again. Poisoned by his own daughter, he stood defiant to the end but such an ignoble way to go for High King who was so beloved in his day.

And the Would be King,

Lord Reinford, a King by any other name but just another foal in the Grangean Knighthood. Named Malcom in life by a father and simple farmer who gave everything he could, just to see a better life for him than he had his own. Malcom fought alongside the King’s Guard and even found himself living the highlife after saving High King Luminas himself but yet, he was never happy serving the king or with the vast riches he had amassed. No. No matter how hard he fought, no matter how many victories he held, he was always second best to somepony else. Even after all these years Reinford never found himself worthy of the title, living in the shadows casted by the giants before him. It wouldn't be long before Malcom would claim the lands of Midland from a corrupt and aging Duke whom tried to kidnap the young Crown-Princess Radiance in a fit of madness. Rather than return to the King's Guard and believing it was time for a change, Reinford sat upon the Duke's throne and named himself Lord of Midland. For many years the noble houses, even his former Lord High King Luminas, would try to take back this land from the iron fist of Reinford only to receive humiliating defeat after defeat. Thus earning him the name Ogre and the rest? The rest is history...

Edit: Note to self, remove stripes, just not digging them anymore.
