It can be tough to 100% a game, but most of the hidden darker stuff in modern kirby games come from pause screen info in the EX modes and True Arenas. Though in kirby 64, you do need to get ALL the crystal shards in order to get to the Zero2 fight.

Yeah, to get to zero2 you need to collect all the crystal shards in Kirby 64. though in recent games you can get hidden lore by pausing your game during boss fights in EX mode and/or The True Arena

I think the most OP final boss in the Kirby series is Dark Mind.

You have the best weapon.
One hit takes down one pixel of HP.
He can cover his weakspot.

And a lot of OP/impossible to dodge attacks.
