Personally I always liked Ho-Oh more than Lugia. His attacks seem more badass. Plus his awesomeness got ampped up with his kickass battle music from heartgold/soulsilver.

tsk tsk tsk. Β 1) Lugia's design is much cooler and better name and design than Ho-Oh 2) Lugia has a much better Move pool, being able to learn Psychic, Dragon and Water moves through level up, meaning it has an advantage over Ho-Oh with Hydro Pump 3) Lugia "is said that it quietly spends its time deep at the bottom of the sea because its powers are too strong." Β and 4) Lugia does not make me think of Hostess cakes! Β Imo.

1) That's your opinion.
2) Ho-Oh can learn electric attacks as well as a few dark and ghost attacks you know. And Lugia's special attack stat is is pretty bad against Ho-Oh's special defense stat.
3) Stop relying on descriptions. They are practically even in power, read the manga or watch the anime.
4)Β  I don't get it.

!) I know that.

2) it can't learn them via level up minus Punishment, which Luiga can also learn. Β If they were both Wild, Lugia would have a natural advantage. Β Plus, they have equal base Sp. Def, so Ho-Oh would fair no better. Β A Super-Effective attack would work better than no bonus.

3) The Pokedex is an encyclopedia so yeah I can. Β Encyclopedias are an excellent source.

4) Never heard of the Hostess brand snack cake, Ho Hos? Β Google it.

Well we can't really debate on that very easily. Especially with such limited information on Varodurumon. Also Ultimate Chaosmon is not as impressive as you think once you see him in action.

We do have all we need. Star busting omnidirectional light attacks, a component of UltimateKhaosmon, existed since ancient times, much larger than Ho-oh, pre-evolution is a Hououmon, etc.

Nice art, especially the Varodorumon.
BTW, I'd say that Hououmon would have been a better opponent.

This was one of the fatigued comments. I need to stop trying to make sense at 1 in the morning. Varodurumon is still practically unknown I'm still learning on him myself.

As for Ultimate Chaosmon, he is a terribly powerful adversary but his body is unstable which puts him a serious disadvantage.
