Description
This was painted as a postcard which is going to be send for the postcrossing project I'm doing. I loved doing this. It allowed me to use a lot of Prussian blue and Payne's grey, two colours which I absolutely adore.Anyways watercolour on pencil sketch

wow you can feel the wind ruffling the petals it makes you feel like you're laying down in a field watching clouds with the flowers surrounding your head.

Oooh you know I love poppies, they're so bright and happy and they work so well with summer sky blue and grass green. They're definitely among my favorite flowers.
The artwork is very life-like, although I feel that especially in the bottom, the blue is a bit overpowering.

This is my favourite type of blue, prussian blue, so I guess I tend to use it a lot.

It is *absolutely* beautiful! I love the color, and the one big poppy in the foreground with the others in back...this is a beautiful composition!
