Biography: Nathan Gold was born and raised in Manhattan, New York, New York. From an early age, Nathan was influenced to join the law enforcement ranks by watching his mother and father, who were both police officers. As a child, Nathan used to be quite goofy and a bit bratty... But after his parents were killed in an apartment explosion, he began to take life more seriously. After his parents died, Nathan had to live with his grandparents. While in school, Nathan made high marks every year. He created and was leader of a few school organizations; he played sports (hockey, football and track) and received several full-ride scholarships to many prestigious universities. Despite all this, Nathan declined going to college and decided to serve time in the police force. Because of his athleticism and wit, he breezed through police academy and served some time on the force. He eventually decided to join the military and quickly rose through the ranks. After he was honorably discharged, Nathan did some time in the FBI and quickly proved himself to many of his superiors. At such a young age, people were impressed with his skill, knowledge and resourcefulness. It was obvious that he was well beyond his years. Nathan was later recruited to serve in Sector 7, a top secret government organization that has high level government clearance and is reserved for top level agents. After Nathan's boss went rogue, his co-workers decided to pick him as new leader of Sector 7, making him the second youngest person to ever be elected leader.

Personality: In terms of persona, Nathan tends to be quite solitary and often displays a matter-of-fact attitude. In other words, he is very straight forward with people, aloof, data oriented and tends to focus on completing the task at any cost. Even though Nathan tends to act more like a machine than a human, and even though he rarely laughs or smiles, he is polite and calm with everyone he is around. He is also stoic and cares about the wellbeing of his teammates. Because of Nathan's personality and looks, every woman that he comes across seems to act very giddy and ultra nice to him. Since Nathan is only concerned about work and getting the job done, he doesn't really pay women any attention... but this often tends to make women want him more.

Hobbies: Working out, building gadgets, coffee, looking at the stars at night, traveling, history, astronomy, ufology, reading the news, basketball, football, boxing, mixed martial arts, soccer, jazz and classic rock music, watching old movies and television shows, reading the news, skydiving, snowboarding & skiing, jet skiing & boating, bounty hunting, fishing, reading, celebrity gossip, working and he likes challenges.

He is not as skilled as Scarlet Hornet, but his martial arts skills are up there. He also has peak human strength, reflexes and agility, due to his martial arts training.

Genius Level Intellect - While Gold is not as smart as Toy Maker or as technical as Circuit Breaker, he has a pretty good grasp of technological items and can think abstractly. He is also fluent in a plethora of different languages.

Vast Knowledge of Aliens and Alien Technology - Gold has a vast knowledge of aliens, their origins and their languages (he speaks quite a few different alien languages). In addition to that, he also knows how to create new alien technology by combining technology from different species. He often uses his alien technology for battle purposes and keeps a lot of alien tech in his utility belt.
