What I love about this one that it is a perfect antagonism to "Painted Cross" on painted cross we have a girl with pale skin against a very colourful backdrop and here we have a girl with a dress in almost the same colours like that background there against a white backdrop. Ingenious move!

I like how one hand is holding barbed wire and the other is holding the stairwell. It's almost like...She wants to go somewhere and travel (since she's wearing Nike, so I'm going to assume she's the type of person who enjoys being athletic), but at the same time, she's being held down by the constant tribulations in life.
Her dress is a fantastic contrast against the white bricks in the background. She looks contemplative and it adds to the enigmatic feeling of this photo. I really love it.
