I usually use a mixture of OpenCanvas 4.5 and photoshop... but photoshop only for saving as OC can't do transparent backgrounds and what I call "glows" (colored outline outside of the actual lineart) is wayyy easier to do on photoshop, but yeah, OC is what I use.. it's just.. amazing xD

i finally got SAI, which i guess is comparable to oC?
it's such a fun program..
when i get a tablet i'm totally gonna go to town with it.
but yeah, your lines are super clean.
and now that i look closely, i can totally see what you mean with the glowing outlines.

hmm Sai may be comparable to OC on some points.. but it's lacking OC's simplicity and layer types, but it has the amazing vector layer option, which OC doesn't have. I used to to my linearts on SAI but then my demo ran off xD
and you mean you do all of that without a tablet? ;_; -fails more-

yeah, unfortunately i do.
that's why i stick to ms paint..
it's a lot easier to hide my mistakes than if i did an all-out CG. /shot
i just have really bad luck with tablets it seems.
