Same here.
Though since it wasn't officially released... I wonder if it'll return. I mean, they gotta microchip those things. The only way you know it's been caught before is if the pokeball doesn't work on it (the only way I can think of it not working is there's some kind of imprint left on the pokemon that is "deleted" or made invalid when they are released.)
