Description
It's been a long time since I've painted this girl.This is the first character I ever made a real story about. Her name is Night Avalar.
One day, when I'm not so paranoid, I will post my comic and story for all of you to read. Maybe not on deviantart, but you guys will hear the story behind this very confused girl. She's my Mona Lisa, mysterious and enticing.
This is my baby. I've had her since I was 8, so she's been in my life for 13 long long years. I've rewritten and rewritten her story over and over and over. But now I have finally created the perfect story for her.

I love the atmosphere here. You always nail that, I have to say. I know how you feel about your baby. My friend and I have these two OC's we made up we we were nine or so. We draw them all the time now. They're our babies. <3

I really enjoy seeing when you redraw old pieces. I love to see an artist's improvement over time, it's really interesting and very encouraging to someone who's never quite sure if she's improving. XD
But besides that this picture is lovely in it's own right~ ahhh, those eyes.

I think artists should make a regular habit of looking back at their old work. XD Insecurity seems to be an epidemic among us.
The meme itself might be a little over-used, but I think people still at least enjoy seeing comparisons like this.
