Description
This poster was featured in the first episode of the Pokemon Anime. It was on the wall of Ash Ketchum's bed room in Palette town. I took a screen cap from the anime of the poster and remastered it in full print quality at 18x24 300ppi. The water colour pain textures from the screen cap are still present in the piece but the lines have been retraced in Adobe Illustrator. There are three layers to each character. The top layer are the lines. Next is the original texture but it has been slightly sharpened and rendered with an under painting filter to give it a bit more fine detail then that layer has been changed to a darken layer at 65% opacity. under that the last layer is a copy of the lines with bright primary colour so that it brings out the detail of the previous layer without getting too dark. As for the background, all of that is traced and filled with bright primary colour. The end result is the closest representation of that poster available yet. I offer this to all of you diehard Pokemon fans so that you may download it and have it printed in full size and hung in your home much as I always wanted when I first saw Pokemon.
