Description Well here's the final version of my drawing of Callie. I worked pretty hard on this and kept messing around with it till I did everything I knew to do. You can check out the original here. [link]

So what do you think? Does it look better or worse? Did I do too much or not enough to it? I really want you guys opinions on this so feel free to share any constructive criticisms (mainly about how it's colored not the line art so much).

And I want to thank both and so much for giving me a hand on this. So go to their pages now and tell them both how cool they are.

Opinions... hmm... I think the cel-shade was the correct choice for this. IMO cartoons look better flat and simple colored.

you have light on her legs and fur, but nothing on her clothes. Also, put a bit of the ear showing in the back - thats really all I can say for the rendering!

Yup Just the backview of the ear though. Make sure it's angled correctly, too.

I guess I left the ear out because I was following the reference sheets on her so closely. You can never seems to see her other ear in except when she's looking straight forward but I don't see why I couldn't try to add that in.

And I didn't go with plain flats because I thought it looked a little boring that way. As for her fur, I think I did that all to make it stand out more but I wasn't worried about the clothes all that much. I wanted people to pay attention to her legs though.
