I was looking through the November Photography selections and came across your gorgeous Bambi pic and wondered where that was taken... so I went off to your home-page and, well, blow me down! there's this one captioned Cape Town. At a guess I'd say that's the Stellenbosch/Paarl region somewhere? This is an outstanding shot and amazingly clear from UV / haze. Truly beautiful.

a work of art - I grew up in Cape Town and went to school and university in Stellenbosch, just around the corner from here. I would have entitled the picture differently as this isn't really Cape Town- Western Cape would have been more accurate, even though the greater mertropolitan area of Cape Town has extended in the last few years.

I have been passed this view many times, but never quite at this angle as there is a huge motorway running across here. How did you miss it. Which side did you take the picture from?

It is really nice seeing such a wonderful photograph of such a familiar place to me- thanks for sharing it.
